Tip-A-Cop

Tip-A-Cops are fun, popular fundraising events held by Law Enforcement Torch Run® programs across the country. Officers act as celebrity waiters (not in uniform) and receive tips for Special Olympics. They do not handle cash or serve alcoholic beverages. In most cases, they assist the restaurant servers by helping to serve water and coffee, and may help clear tables. Tip-A-Cop collection envelopes are provided for the donations.  This is a year-round activity that can be held in any restaurant in Indiana.
